Application Area:

Durabuild Corrosion Resistant Epoxy Coating is used for protective coating and lining for water retaining structures and surfaces subject to contact with foodstuffs. The cured film is resistant to corrosion, chemical attack and abrasion and is suitable for application to reservoirs, tanks, silos, water treatment works, breweries, dairies and meat and food processing plants.

Consumption/coverage:

It covers 10.0 m� per kg per coat at 100 micron thickness. The coverage figure is theoretical – due to wastage factors and the variety and nature of substrates, practical coverage figures may be substantially reduced

Description:

D158 DURABUILD CORROSION RESISTANT EPOXY COATING is based on modified cycloaliphatic
polyamine hardener with solvent free epoxy resins, with high corrosion resistance for
metal and concrete surfaces. And it is supplied as a two pack material in pre-weighed
quantities ready for on-site mixing and use. This is generally applied at a wet film thickness of
100 micron per coat, but can be applied at greater thicknesses to suit exposure conditions.
The material cures to provide a smooth, hygienic and tough finish which is suitable for contact
with potable water and foodstuffs. It is available in blue and white shade.
